This is why the garden is impossible and the forest is wild.

To be fluent in forest one must navigate the grammar of dreams, and wrestle some of the power from the dreaming’s old tyrant kings. For dreams is where chaos slides along the fragile edges of our souls, like hands feeling for seams on a blank wall, looking for ways in.
